All chalets are fully self contained with a full size modern kitchen to enable self catering.

We supply Tea / Coffee / Milk, All linen & towels, cutlery, crockery, and all eating & cooking utensils, at no charge.

Air conditioning, Colour TV, DVD Player, Microwave, Telephone, Internet Access,and Ensuite Bathroom are standard in all chalets.

All guests need bring is food and sunblock.

All chalets are exceptionally spacious and have various bed layouts and capacities.

Chalets sleep from 1 - 5 adults, or families of up to 2 adults & 4 children, in comfort.

There are two styles of chalet available at The White Cockatoo.

Standard Garden View Chalets and Superior Pool View Chalets.

For Interstate or International Travellers Transfers are Available.

Cairns City / Cairns Airport / Port Douglas / Daintree / Cape Tribulation to The White Cockatoo and return.

Please notify us at time of reservation if transfer required. Please do not ring us from the airport at midnight wanting a pick up !

Minimum 5 night reservation required for provided transfers.

Return transfers are provided at $50 single or double with latest pick-up or drop-off being 7.00pm.

Transfer requests will require an authorisation to charge accommodation and transfer costs

to supplied credit card on day of arrival 2 hours prior to pick-up time.

This is a change in policy effective August '08 and not applicable to any bookings made prior to then.

The Standard Garden View Chalet.

As the name would suggest these are located in the garden area of our resort.

Two have a separate bedroom containing a double bed with bunks in the living area.

All others are open plan in design.

The Superior Pool View Chalet

The Most Popular Choice.

As the name would suggest these are located in the pool area of our resort.

There are six of these available, and bookings are always essential for these being our most popular accommodation choice.

Two of these chalets have a separate bedroom containing a queen bed with bunks in the living area. The other four being open plan in design.

In addition to the features that all Standard Chalets have the Superior Chalets have Hairdryer, Balcony table setting, and more modern furnishings.

Plus being located in the prime area of our resort.

The White Cockatoo does not have an onsite restaurant, however there are 4 to choose from within a 600 metre walk,

plus a Woolworths supermarket only a 200 metre walk away for essential supplies.

Breakfast can be provided from a breakfast menu if required.
